From the first crop of Newgate Farm’s Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes winner Cosmic Force, a son of Deep Field, Lot 825 is a brown colt out of the winning Sebring mare Emma Jane, herself a blood-sister to the Listed winner The Actuary (Sebring), and a half-sister to the stakes performers Astrologer (Star Turn) and Deep Speed (Deep Field).

From the family of this season’s Group 1 Flight Stakes winner Zougotcha (Zoustar) and Group 1 Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lily (Stratum), this colt is out of a mare by Sebring, who as a broodmare sire has produced 16 stakes performers headed by Group 1 winner On The Bubbles (Brazen Beau) and the Group 3 winner Full Velocity (Philanthropist).

The similar Deep Field x Sebring pedigree cross has produced five winners from just eight runners.
