From the first crop of Widden Stud’s Group 1 Oakleigh Plate winner Portland Sky, a son of multiple Hong Kong Champion Sire Deep Field, Lot 599 is the second foal of the 1000m-winning Wandjina mare Lil’ Angel, a three-quart-sister to the Group 2 placed Platinum Angel.
From the family of Yarraman Park’s highly promising young sire Hellbent, this colt is out of a mare by Wandjina, who is a son of Snitzel, and Snitzel in the same position within the pedigree has produced 10 winners from 35 runners including two stakes performers.
