From the first crop of Group 1 Golden Rose and Group1 Caulfield Guineas winner Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon), whose first crop yearlings have sold up to $1m this year, Lot 116 is a bay/brown colt out of the winning Lucky Unicorn half-sister to Group 3 winner Estelle Collection, who is in turn the dam of Horse of the Year and multiple Group 1 winner Lankan Rupee (Redoute’s Choice).

From the extended family of Champion Sire Lonhro, recent Group 1 Newmarket Handicap winner Cylinder (Exceed And Excel), as well as fellow stakes winners Count De Rupee, Manhattan Street, Monsieur Gustave, this colt is a half-brother to the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate winner Dig Deep (Deep Field).

Lucky Unicorn as a broodmare sire has been represented by 24 winners from 67 runners led by four stakes performers with the best performed being this colt’s half-brother Dig Deep.
